Aiden McGee is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-4 192 lb. frame from West Des Moines, IA who attends Waukee. Extremely projectable long and lanky athletic build. Two-way prospect. 7.02 runner in the sixty, shows good athleticism in the outfield with some carry on his on line throws, can improve the quickness of his release with fundamental adjustments. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with limited lower half shift, has quick hands that drive his bat speed, shows some present bat speed and power with more to come as he learns to use his lower half and leverage potential. Might have a higher ceiling on the mound. Long and loose arm action with a 3/4's arm slot, delivery is smooth and athletic with a good tempo. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with good arm side run at times, has been up to 90 mph in the past, is aggressive in the strike zone with his fastball. Slider flashes potential with some tightness, especially when he maintains full arm speed on the pitch. Developing change up. Interesting young athlete.
