Isaiah Bueno is a 2018 3B/SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Hollister, CA who attends San Benito HS. On the infield he has a good first step to the ball that helps him create momentum to first base, quickly transfer the ball from glove to hand and throws on line. Also showed athleticism in the outfield making an acrobatic play on a hard hit line drive. At the plate he has an upright and narrow stance with rhythm in the hands. He starts his swing with an early load to the rear leg, lifts the stride leg early, drops his hands and tips the barrel to a strong launch position. Takes a quick swing and creates a level bat path. Good student.
