2018 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Andrew Bergeron is a 2020 OF/UT with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who attends IMG Academy. Strong, physical frame with present athleticism and room for additional strength. Primary outfielder with lots of steps into the ball with a lower arm slot. Lots of carry out of the hand and moves very well to the ball. Actions play nicely and arm strength recorded up to 90 mph into the target. Arm strength also played well from secondary position of the infield. Righthanded hitter with a big leg lift trigger into the swing. Longer swing path with bat speed and strength off the barrel. Looking to lift with some natural loft to the swing plane. Power is present and more to unlock with additional strength to the frame. Good student. Named to the 2018 PG Fall TP Showcase Top Prospect List.
