Christopher Sparber is a 2020 C/OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Lincroft, NJ who attends Red Bank Catholic. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.17 seconds. Hits from even stance with balanced set, swings the bat hard with intent to do damage, gets barrel moving uphill and looks to drive it into the air, has impact pull side, solid raw power in that direction. Primary catcher, side-saddle set, quickness to footwork out of crouch, arm strength is best tool, clocked up to 84 mph on throws. Also threw 90 mph from the outfield and graded out well defensively there, shows clean actions with good reads. Pitched as well, slower tempo to delivery, arm strength on display, touched 87 mph and settled well below that to gain command, showed ability to generate plane. Named to 2019 Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.
