Cedric Merle is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Pincourt, QC who attends Ecole Secondaire Chene-Bleu. Medium frame with long limbs and excellent projection; ran 60 yard dash in 7.24 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, full arm stroke through the back to high three quarters slot, opens up front hip and gates downhill, fastball worked 72-75 mph with some life, showed curveball with late 11/5 break, good job of throwing strikes. Hits from even-based stance with high hands, hits off of backside, quickness to hands, shows whole-field approach. Worked out in the outfield, comes in on ball well, shows hands, hops into the air to throw, clocked up to 75 mph. Very good student.
