Kaleb Woltz is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Aurora, CO who attends Cherokee Trail. Large frame with present strength and projection moving forward. Ran a 7.18 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a side step delivery into leg lift above the belt. Lands in line to the plate. Quick arm action through a medium take back and into a three-quarter slot consistently working to extension. Creates occasional running life through the zone with the fastball with angle to the plate when working in the life half topping out at 87 miles per hour. Sharp fading life on the changeup as well as a sweeping 10-to-4 shape curveball. Able to land all pitches for strikes with command of plate. Also worked out as a secondary outfielder. Fields to the side with an athletic close to the all. Creates hard carry on throws with good arm strength topping out at 88 miles per hour. Clean release getting on top of throws well and making accurate throws to the bag. Righthanded hitter with an upright and open stance to start. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Utilizes strength well swinging with intent and generating barrel speed through the zone. Shows feel for the barrel while working to the pull side. Very good student as well. Named to the 2019 Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.
