Noah Helton is a 2019 OF/RHP/UT with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Somerset, KY who attends Southwestern HS. Large frame with slender, high-waisted present build; very good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.85 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance with leg lift trigger, collapses into back leg a bit in load, wraps hands into load, shows solid bat speed through the zone on linear plane, showed ability to work to all fields, approach stays committed to the middle of the field. Worked out in the outfield; moves in on ball well with quality straight-line athleticism, fields cleanly and works through the ball, whippy arm action with highly projectable arm speed, throws clocked up to 80 mph. Pitched as well, offline arm stroke through the back highlighted by stab to initiate stroke, good arm speed coming through, throws from three quarters arm slot and creates some angle to the plate. Fastball worked 76-79 mph with slight arm side life; also worked in curveball with 10/4 shape and solid depth when on top of it. Did a good job generating weak contact. Very good student.
