Sean Russell is a 2022 C/RHP, 1B, OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Waycross, GA who attends Charlton County. Medium frame with a thick build and square shoulders. Ran an 8.07 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Sets up in a slightly side straddled stance. Short arm action in the back showing some explosiveness when coming out of the stance. Throws are on line to the bag topping out at 70 miles per hour and popping a 2.16. Righthanded hitter with an even stance. Utilizes a short heel lift trigger for timing. Shows some bat speed through the zone with smoothness in hands. Generates torque with a rotational swing. Generates some jump off the barrel using strength well. Good student as well.
