2023 Florida Prospect Showcase
Dylan Lovelace is a 2024 RHP/UT with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Lake Butler, FL who attends Santa Fe. Tall athletic build with good present strength. Long and smooth arm swing from a high leg raise delivery, higher arm slot through release, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball worked up to 85 mph with good spin rates and plenty of carry up in the zone. Got in a nice groove with a slurve type breaking ball and consistently landed the pitch for strikes. Has two quality pitches he can command and the potential to continue to add velocity. Worked out in the infield and showed his arm strength across the diamond. Right handed hitter, has a long swing, tends to cast his hands out and swing around the ball. Good student. Named to the Florida Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
