Peyton Von Kaenel is a 2022 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Calimesa, CA who attends Yucaipa. Large strong build, uses a high leg lift on the bump. Has a shorter stride down the hill, throws from a three-quarters slot. His 79-83 mph fastball possesses some sink when down in the zone. 11-to-5 shaped curveball has solid bite and a larger shape. Developing his arm action on the changeup. Shows feel with all three pitches. Not afraid to throw secondary pitches back to back. Lived around the zone throughout his outing. Will maintain his same fastball velocity out of the stretch as well. Efficient throughout. Excellent student with a 4.3 GPA.
