David Poole III is a 2025 C/RHP, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Avondale, LA who attends Thomas Jefferson High School for Advanced Studies. Recorded a 7.70 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with broad shoulders and excellent physical projection remaining. Primary catcher with a square stance and quick release. Longer arm stroke with good carry out of the hand and accurate throws down to the bag. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a long, offline arm action and a high three-quarters arm slot. Generates some whip to the arm stroke and flashed a curveball showing 11/5 shape and depth. Fastball comes out well when the arm is on time and also flashed a changeup. Righthanded hitter with a toe tap into the shift and gets his weight out in front well. Inside path to contact with a downhill swing plane. Best when he gets his hands extended out in front of the plate.
