Perry Brown is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Lutheran South Academy. Slender young build with lots of room to get better. Right handed hitter, loads way back onto his back side, busy lower half load and will get off balance, short hands driven swing with an uphill swing plane, occasional pull line drive contact, will continue to improve as he gets stronger and simplifies his swing approach. Excellent runner, 6.67 in the sixty. Glove works well in the outfield, over the top arm slot with developing arm strength. Also took a turn on the mound, high 3/4's arm slot, steady mid-70's fastball with a slow curveball, threw strikes. Good student.
