Riley Baranowski is a 2019 C with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Valley Center, CA who attends Valley Center High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to develop physically and add strength. Posted a 7.25 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up, repeated actions well, gained ground into throws, and showed developing arm strength. Posted a workout pop time of 2.15. At the plate, started with a wide base, spread stance, slight crouch, and a toe tap timing mechanism. Deeper hand load and used an up the middle and pull side approach. Showed raw ability to find the barrel working underneath the ball mostly. Will continue to improve with age and additional strength. Outstanding student.
