Braylen Montgomery is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Walker, LA who attends Walker. Outstanding young athletic build with some present physicality and loads of projection ahead of him. Right handed hitter, hits from a very narrow start with a long stride into his swing, very late hand takeaway, creates lots of raw bat speed and loud jump off the barrel when it all comes together, will need lots of adjustments as the game speeds up but has high ceiling power and offensive potential. 6.62 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has young footwork to the ball and can be more aggressive in his approach, showed arm strength with a spinning very rotational throwing motion that creates inconsistency. Overall, a great athlete who will need to continue to work on fundamentals and basics. Good student.
