2022 13U/14U Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Jack Manthey is a 2026 C/RHP, 2B, IF, OF with a 5-5 125 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Regis Jesuit. Smaller and lean frame. Ran a 7.96 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with developing footwork and foot speed behind the plate, gets tall on throws, and shows developing arm strength with some accuracy. Showed fundamental footwork as an infielder as well getting directly to the baseball, getting to a good fielding position, catching it cleanly out front and made throws with a quick release and accuracy. A switch-hitter at the plate with a slightly open stance and load stride timing. More comfortable from the right side with some barrel speed and ability to lift the baseball to his pull side. Developing feel for the barrel that should come with added strength. Semi windup delivery with drop and drive mechanics on the mound and a three-quarter arm slot. Can throw consistent strikes with the fastball and is starting to develop a curve that has present slurve type action to it. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
