2005 National Underclass Dec 28-30
William Fraser is a 2008 C/3B from The Benjamin School in Lake Worth, FL, with a 5'10'', 168 lb. frame. He ran 7.88 in the 60 and threw 67 mph during catching drills with a best pop time of 2.17. His throws were accurate and his feet worked well behind the plate. His arm strength should improve with time and physical maturity. Fraser hits from a tall stance and has very sound hitting fundamentals. He keeps his swing short, uses his hands to hit and has the ability for a young hitter to hit the ball deep in the zone and keep his hands inside the ball while still driving it hard. Fraser has a line drive swing plane and has the bat speed to reach the gaps. He's a good looking young hitter who should keep getting better as he gets stronger. His fundamentals on both sides of the game are very strong and he knows how to play. Fraser is also a good student.
