Ty Uber is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Cameron Park, CA who attends Ponderosa. XL frame with strong, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.00 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with high hands and low back elbow, leg lift trigger with front foot down early often, short with hands through swing, will cut swing off, swings uphill and wants to generate lift, can drive the ball due to strength. Worked out in the outfield, comes in on the ball well and maintains balance throughout, works through, solid corner outfield profile with legitimate arm strength, on top of throws well clocked up to 91 mph. Also pitched, medium-length arm stroke to high three quarters slot, creates excellent plane to the plate, fastball worked 85-88 mph with that steep plane, slider flashes very good depth and bite at times, showed straight changeup as well, did a nice job throwing strikes. Very good student.
