Reynaldo Angeles is a 2021 SS/RHP with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Oakland Gardens, NY who attends Benjamin N Cardozo HS. Recorded a 6.81 second 60-yard dash time. Very athletic and quick twitch frame that projects well physically. Primary shortstop with good arm strength recorded up to 84 mph. Smooth hands and works through the baseball well. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a longer arm action and quality arm speed. Lower three-quarters arm slot with an extended arm circle. Small rocker step into a leg lift above the belt with a slight coil over the rubber. Athletic delivery and is athletic enough to repeat. Slider has 10/3 shape with some tilt and bite to it. Works quickly in attack mode. Talented on the mound and projects well. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and high back elbow. Small leg lift trigger into the swing with a spread open start. Fluid stroke with a line drive swing plane. Simple, balanced swing with a solid approach. Named to the 2017 NUC East Top Prospect List.
