Jason L'Etoile is a 2021 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends American Heritage Delray Beach. Ran a 7.72 second sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman with a physical frame and strong build. Rounds the ball with quick feet to positioning, showcasing longer actions through the fielding process. Has a sure glove, seeing the ball in well with longer transitions to throw. Makes strong throws to bases at 85 miles per hour. Also worked out in the outfield, showing the same present arm strength up to 90 miles per hour, with developing athleticism to the approach to the ball. Has present bat speed at the plate, swinging with intent to impact the ball. Shows some leverage to the pull side, using the hips well and showing good strength when connecting out front. Swing plays in game action, recording multiple hits. Also pitched, staying tight over the rubber with a full arm circle in the back. Has some athleticism and looseness to the arm path, allowing for good extension over the front side. Ran the fastball up to 87 miles per hour, pitching at 82-85 with some jump out of the hand. Shows feel to spin a tight curveball with 11-5 shape and hard bite in the mid-70s. Rarely goes to the changeup, but it does provide a good wrinkle against left-handed hitters with late-fading action. Named to 2019 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase, Top Prospect List.
