William Cade Cocke is a 2024 C/1B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Clarksville, TN who attends Clarksville. Large and physical frame, broad shoulders with upper half size. Ran a 7.54 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, high slot, full intent reps, higher stance, quicker transfer, very high tempo actions with quickness and urgency, accurate throws to the bag on a low line, worked hard behind the dish in game as well. Secondary first baseman, developing feel for footwork around the bag, handled all chances cleanly, accurate arm across, fundamental round and made the plays. Right-handed hitter, big knee lift, hands tend to load up, balanced stance, quick load and separation, has some pull side impact when connected and on time with the big leg kick stride. High energy player with some strength that translates behind the dish as well as in the box. Great student.
