Nelson Graveran is a 2018 SS/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Southwest Ranches, FL who attends Chaminade Madonna College Prep. Shorter frame with present strength on the build. Primary shortstop with aggressive actions and attacks the ball well. Developing arm strength from the position with good lateral agility to both sides. Feet are quick and work well through the throw. Righthanded hitter with a quick leg lift trigger that is used primarily for timing. Quick hands through the direct path to contact. Stays on a line drive swing plane well and repeats the swing. Upper half dominant swing with good strength through the point of contact. Short and compact stroke with present bat speed in the swing. Found the barrel often and sprayed hard hit line drive contact all over the field. Contact-oriented approach with good feel for the barrel.
