Dylan Yanes is a 2022 2B/RHP/UT with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Langham Creek. Ran a 7.35-second sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman with a medium frame and athletic build with room to fill out and add strength. Has quick feet defensively, approaching the ball well with soft hands to field and a clean transfer to throw. Shows some range laterally, making throws with developing accuracy across the diamond at 78 mph. Right-handed hitter that starts from an upright and even stance, with a simple leg lift trigger and linear lower half. Has loose hands, using a line drive barrel to execute a middle of the field approach. Shows some feel for the barrel and can work to all fields, will grow into more power as the frame continues to mature. Secondary right-handed pitcher that starts from the windup with a small side step into a leg lift that reaches just above the belt, Maintains good direction down the mound, showcasing some arm speed with some effort at release from an over the top slot. Finds the zone with frequency with the fastball at 75-76 mph, mixing speeds well with a sweeping curveball at 67 mph. Breaking ball has some depth with more 10-4 shape. Good student.
