Stone Johnson is a 2024 RHP/C, 3B, OF with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Reagan. Stone is an emerging athlete who has a build that will allow for him to add muscle and strength as he matures. His current fundamental ability is quite obvious. He ran an 8.57 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher, Stone works out of the stretch exclusively. He utilizes a high three-quarters arm slot and a compact arm stroke to pitch routinely down the slope. His well-commanded, 64-68 mph fastball shows consistent natural cut and is thrown routinely to both edges of the plate. His 62-mph breaking ball is more slider-like in appearance, showing 11-to-5 break and late sink at the dish. On the infield, Stone shows consistent ability to make the routine plays. His footwork is measured and allows him to smoothly field and transition. His 66-mph velocity on throws allows his tosses to carry across the diamond. At the plate, Stone loads up on the backside and uses noticeable leverage to drive the baseball. He swings the bat with intent! His bat-to-ball ability is sound and projects to a higher level.
