Kevin Bleier is a 2019 SS/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Westlake Village, CA who attends Westlake. Medium frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength. Primary shortstop with smooth paced, clean footwork while surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling and worked through exchanges well. Released from a three-quarters arm slot producing on line carry to the bag, topped at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and toe tap trigger. Simple, direct hand path to contact and worked through extension on a level, line drive plane. Consistently worked to the middle of the field but flashed the barrel feel to work the other way as well. Good student.
