Kyson Donahue is a 2018 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Honolulu, HI who attends Punahou. Large frame with athletic, highly projectable present build. Very good physicality. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.30 seconds. Sets up to hit from open, upright stance with drifting leg lift trigger. Shifts well into contact; showed good hip torque at times and stays online in lower half. Direct path to contact with hands; stays on line drive plane and extends well through contact, balanced throughout, did a good job making contact and showing projectable power as well. Worked out defensively in the infield; solid fundamentals with good footwork and clean hand actions, quick transfer with quick release as well, clocked up to 80 mph on throws across the diamond. Pitched as well, good balance over the rubber, easy delivery and arm action. Fastball worked 77-82 mph with good command to both sides; also showed curveball with quality depth and control. Did a good job pounding the zone. Good student.
