Adrien Alvarado is a 2023 OF/C/SS with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Dickinson, TX who attends Dickinson. Large frame with a strong and athletic build. Ran a 7.13 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athletic look and actions as a whole, gets slightly off direction but able to play through it and showed some arm strength into the low-80s on throws. Athleticism can translate to the infield, longer actions and plays tall but able to get to spot and arm works across. Also pitches, smooth delivery, releases from a compact arm action and worked into the low-80s with the fastball, showed feel for a short deceptive changeup and big 12-to-6 curveball. Righthanded hitter, wide base and a longer swing, gets onto the front side well and has some strength behind the swing, will get tied up some but showed strength in game with a ringing triple off the wall.
