Gavin Dassau is a 2023 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Slidell, LA who attends Slidell. Athletic build with room to fill. Ran a 7.24 second sixty yard dash. Primary Righthanded pitcher, worked from a slightly open stance with a quick, shorter leg kick, keeps weight balanced over the rubber and strides out working across his body on the release, works downhill as well from a 3/4 arm slot, young, raw mechanics on the bump, fastball sat in the low-70's with a change-up in the mid-50's and a 12-6 curveball in the low-50's. Secondary third basemen, sits back on baseball waiting to read hops and then works through it, long arm action across the diamond. Right handed hitter, wide stance at the plate with a balanced approach, transfers body weight well and through baseball, long barrel through the zone and showed some pop to the pull side. Outstanding student.
