Hayden Vandenberg is a 2023 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from West Burlington, IA who attends West Burlington. Big and physical build with very good present strength. 7.90 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has good footwork and lower half actions for his size, works through his throws well with active feet and stays in line, fielded the ball cleanly and made accurate throws. Right handed hitter, has a deep hand load, upper body driven swing with some bat speed and good strength at contact, gets some jump off the barrel when he's squared up, will cut off his swing at times out front and can extend through contact more consistently. Good student.
