Peyton Ahlstrom is a 2020 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Dunkirk, NY who attends Canisius HS. Recorded an 8.01 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame with room for physical development. Primary shortstop with deliberate actions and arm strength up to 76 mph. Shows quickness to feet and throws from intent across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a full arm circle. Higher three-quarter arm slot with a fully extended release point. Balanced and online delivery. Fastball shows short run to the arm side and sink. Throws strikes and worked in a short slider with late bite. Slider functions as a two-strike pitch for swings and misses. Works quickly. Righthanded hitter with an upper half dominant swing. Keeps hands close to body through an inside path to contact. Gets the barrel through the hitting zone and will improve power potential with added strength. Good student.
