Gabriel Gonzalez-Quevedo is a 2024 2B/RHP, 3B, SS, MIF, IF, OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Belen Jesuit Prep. Medium, physical build. 7.23 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, wide base stance with high hands, hovering stride out into contact, has bat speed and found the barrel when timed up. Flashed ability to get the barrel out front and impact to the pull-side with strength. Primary second baseman, fundamentally sound footwork getting to grounders, breaks down and fields with a two hand funnel out front. Works through grounders well, compact arm action to a three-quarter slot, developing arm strength across the diamond, recorded accurate throws up to 74 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full delivery, side steps into a belt high leg lift, full inline arm path in the back to a high three-quarters slot, lands inline with the plate. Lived in the mid-70s with a fastball heavy diet, up to 76 mph (1775 RPM). Tremendous student.
