Christian Salazar is a 2022 OF/MIF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Cypress Ranch. Medium frame with athletic, compact build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.56 seconds. Hits from spread, even-based stance with high hands and back elbow, leg lift trigger, loads hands up and back into locked bar, shows good bat speed with whole field approach on linear path, stays committed to the middle of the field. Worked out in the outfield, moves well, shows off speed and athleticism, fields cleanly and has very quick release, has good arm strength with accuracy and quick release, clocked up to 86 mph on throws. Excellent student, named to 2020 National Underclass South Showcase Top Prospect List.
