Weston Fulk is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny HS. Extra large frame with present strength and square shoulders. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a side step delivery to leg lift at the belt. Lands in line down the mound and gets to extension consistently. Full action in the back into an extended three-quarter release. Stays around the zone looking to work the edges of the plate with the fastball topping out at 84 miles per hour. Gets around the breaking ball and produces sharp lateral movement. Low effort release and looks to command the zone. Righthanded hitter with a quick hands through a line drive plane. Utilizes strength well in swing and generates jump when squared up. Shows the ability to control the barrel and work contact to the gaps. Named to the 2019 Pitcher/Catcher Showcase Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to the University of Iowa. Very good student as well.
