Brandon Glowacki is a 2019 3B/C with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Lakeside, CA who attends Santana. Medium frame with broad shoulders and beginnings of strength. Ran a 7.67 sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman with smooth paced footwork while ranging for and rounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling from a slightly deeper position. Clean, loose exchanges and released from a high three-quarters arm slot topping at 77 miles per hour. Also worked out from behind the plate a low, wide stance while setting up to receive the baseball. Balanced, sound footwork while working out of crouch, gaining ground towards the bag. Released from a compact arm action generated accurate, on lien carry to the bag topping at 72 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.15. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and simple front side trigger. Created some shift into contact with linear lower half actions. Direct path to contact with a naturally leveraged swing plane. Primarily looked to separate and lift the baseball while swinging with intent. Consistently created hard contact between the gaps showing present bat speed and strength at contact that generated good backspin with carry. Outstanding student.
