Dustin Noller is a 2020 RHP/SS/OF with a 6-1 181 lb. frame from Rock Hill, SC who attends Northwestern HS. Large frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a smooth paced side step to high leg lift delivery. Stays balanced on back side at gather and lands in line with the plate utilizing tall and fall actions. Clean take back and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Produced good arm whip through extension with a fastball that flashed good run to arm side in the low 80's, topped at 83 miles per hour. Displayed good feel for fastball and consistently located to each edge of the plate. Slider created 10/4 shape with looser spin and some tilt to glove side. Flashed sharper tilt when maintaining arm speed through extension. Also featured an 11/5 breaking ball that flashed hard bite to the bottom of the zone. Worked out defensively from the infield showing developing fluidity while ranging for and working through the baseball. Released from a taller throwing position and created good carry across the infield at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple front side trigger. Created good linear shift into contact with lower half. Clean, loose path to contact with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Consistently worked to the middle of the field and flashed good pop off the barrel when connecting with baseball out front. Excellent student. Named to the 2018 National Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
