Ignacio Rohena-Mercado is a 2021 OF/ with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends Academia Interamericana Metro. Medium and skinny frame with plenty of room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.16 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, charges the baseball quickly, fields the ball to the side, stays low to the baseball in an athletic position to release, shuffles into throws using lower half well, full arm action leading to average arm strength, topped out at 75 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, small leg lift trigger used for timing, weight sits on backside and could get more shift in weight into the point of contact, bat wrap at load, some whip to the barrel with some present bat speed, flat bat path, should continue to get stronger for added bat speed and pop off of the barrel.
