Conner Reece is a 2024 2B/RHP/3B with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Hanover. Slender young build with lots of time to fill in and get stronger. 9.10 runner in the sixty. Has good fundamentals in the infield on defense, gets behind the ball well with good footwork, hands are soft at the ball, arm strength still developing. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread crouched stance with a low hand start, loads to his back side with some back side collapse, long sweeping swing, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Also pitched, worked from the stretch with a loose high 3/4's arm slot, good direction to the plate, uses his lower half well to drive his delivery. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, mostly straight and thrown for strikes. Short breaking ball that he landed well for strikes. Worked quickly and competed well. Good student.
