Cade Maclin is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-1 145 lb. frame from Argyle, TX who attends Liberty Christian HS. Long limbed and tall frame with plenty of physical projection remaining and room to add size. Primary righthanded pitcher with a compact delivery and a low leg life. Short, quick arm action and releases the ball from a higher three-quarter arm slot. Good rhythm and consistently on top of the ball to create downhill plane in the lower third of the zone. Quality curveball with 11/5 shape and solid spin. Worked mostly to the glove side of the plate and flashed command of the fastball there. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and high back elbow. Balanced, even stance with a loose, line drive oriented swing path. Inside hand path and showed the ability to work to all fields. Consistent line drive contact with the barrel and lets the ball travel deep. Great student.
