Jack Kisela is a 2021 3B/RHP, IF, C with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Schwenksville, PA who attends Spring-Ford. Primary third baseman, medium frame, slender build with room to fill out, 7.59 runner in the 60. Shows safe and fundamental actions with squared shoulders and deep funnel fielding, moves well laterally to his left with solid transfer skills and easiness to the release, developing arm strength. Hits from a narrow, upright and open stance with a high hand set and elevated back elbow. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing and creates weight shift into contact with a lifting swing from the left side, looking to create leverage out front with a pull side power approach. Has some inconsistency with the barrel but will make hard contact to the whole field. Also pitches, simple and easy delivery that gathers well at the top, generates some lower half with hip load at the top of the leg lift. Creates a slight crossfire step to the plate with a full arm circle in the back and delivering through a high 3/4 arm slot. Shows feel for throwing strikes with the fastball, which sat in the middle 70's, topping at 76 mph. Consistently landed his curveball in the zone with 10/4 shape. Good student.
