Colin Jackson is a 2021 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Gaither. Tall and lean frame with long limbs and easy room to bulk. Ran a 7.62 in the sixty yard dash. A primary right-handed pitcher, full and consistent tempo during the windup with balance throughout. Stays back on the rubber and works down the slope, over the top release with good extension to the plate. Fastball has some sink and he located down in the zone. 11/5 shaped curveball with good late bite. Easy future sinker/slider profile. A secondary infielder, squares the ball up and works the hands out front, short release with solid accuracy across the diamond. A switch-hitter, spread and on line stance to start from the left side. Flat path and works the hands out front, creating some backspin. Right-handed, starts lightly open with a big and powerful stride. leaner path and very good barrel speed through contact. Very good student.
