Andrew Weaver is a 2006, 5'10-170 MIF from Weyers Cave, VA who attends Fort Defiance HS. Weaver can really run which he showed by posting a 6.73 sixty time and he will wear out the base paths. He is a lead off type hitter who will steal bags. Weaver is very good in the infield and made a spectacular lay out stop at SS in the game. Weaver has exceptional range to his glove side with quick transfers and he shows very good arm strength with 79 mph arm velocity. Andrew is a RH hitter with good balance in his swing. He likes to pull the ball and shows some uppercut in his swing. He has very strong hands and can drive the ball to all fields . Weaver shows outstanding power potential. He is a flashy player with outstanding tools that will fit into many college programs.
