Dylan Kimsey is a 2020 RHP/C/IF with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Texas City, TX who attends Texas City HS. Young frame with a slender build and room to add in the future. Ran a 7.35 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a tall delivery. Some effort at release from a high three-quarters arm slot. Straight fastball up in the zone topping out at 80 miles per hour. High fastball compliments a tight spinning curveball with sharp downward bite. Getting a lot of swing and miss with breaker. Also worked out defensively as an infielder. Fields with soft hands out front with some funnels up. Compact and quick arm action with some arm strength across. Righthanded hitter with a long and smooth swing. Good shift into contact with a middle of the field approach. Generates extensions through contact. Consistently squares up the ball with fluidity to swing.
