Aidan Troy is a 2021 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Cardinal Mooney. Extra large frame with long limbs and more room to project on. Ran a 7.17 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, submarine pitcher starting windup with a big rocker step, long arm stroke to a submarine slot that creates heavy riding life to his fastball, fastballs show varying life in all directions, grips fastball in multiple ways to create that lively movement, delivery makes for tough at-bat for righthanded hitter, mixes in a changeup with similar life to it as his fastball, topped out at 71 mph on the mound. Secondary first baseman, fields the ball to the side moving to it with quick actions with a quick release. Also took reps in the outfield, fields the baseball to the side coming through it well and gaining good ground to his target, long arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, topped out at 82 mph from the outfield. Also took reps in the infield with similar actions as at first base, athletic movements and a quick exchange, could look to breakdown more at gather for improved hands. Righthanded hitter, weight sits on backside, sets up with a wide base and a high hand set, level swing plane with rotational actions to swing, showed the ability to lift with mostly line drive middle of the field contact.
