Landon Beard is a 2021 C with a 5-9 120 lb. frame from Leighton, AL who attends Muscle Shoals HS. Recorded a 7.95 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a very young look and plenty of time to develop physically. Primary catcher with a quick exchange and tight release. Shorter arm path with some actions. Arm strength recorded up to 69 mph with room for more and shows some carry. Righthanded hitter with a spread, open stance. Wide base with an even, level swing plane. Up the middle approach with a short and compact swing path. Line drive approach with a deeper hand load to start. Spray contact to all fields. Offensive potential as he continues to add strength and size to the frame.
