Johnny Ceccoli is a 2020 1B/OF/3B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Tyler, TX who attends All Saints Episcopal High School. Large, broad shouldered build with present strength proportioned throughout frame. Primary first baseman, does a nice job of getting low behind the ball and through it, smooth actions with athleticism, fields out front and funnels into compact and tight arm action, taller at release and can continue to incorporate additional lower half, accurate across the diamond. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a straight stance in the box with a lower hand set away from body. Longer stride moving into contact; full swing path through the zone and remains linear with plane, shows occasional lift out front. Shows comfort pulling the ball, able to generate jump off the barrel when squared and shows back spin to pull side when on time. Good student. Verbal commitment to Auburn.
