Samuel Benjamin is a 2020 OF/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Seven Lakes HS. Solid athletic build with good present strength. 6.81 runner, has the speed to have plenty of range in the outfield, throws from a lower arm slot but has some arm strength and carry. Also plays first base, very athletic for that position with quick actions, makes very accurate throws, type of athlete who would probably be playing middle infield if he was right handed. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide upright base with an aggressive loose swing, pull hitter with lots of extension out front, has good bat speed and can impact the ball. Good student.
