2024 National Showcase
Mercer Hudson is a 2025 C/OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Midland, GA who attends Brookstone. Strong framed athlete with present size and definition. Ran a 6.78 in the sixty. Primary catcher who popped a 1.93 time in drills. Solid carry and replaces feet well. One hop accuracy to the bag and shows a quick transfer out of his crouch. Showed a good arm from the outfield as well. Gets on top of throws and has carry to the bag. Plays it well on a hop and looks the part there athletically. Right-handed hitter, high hand set and inward toe tap into stride. Linear path that flashed strength to the pull side. Good middle of the field approach and has feel for the barrel present. Strength to all fields stood out.
