Andrew Castor is a 2027 OF/2B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Linn-Mar. Medium frame with compact, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.24 seconds. Hits from even-based and narrow stance, high back elbow, compact and direct swing path, repeats swing well, makes consistent firm contact to all fields, projects well as he continues developing strength, flashed some pop to the pull-side in game. Worked out in the outfield, fields cleanly off to the side and maintains momentum working through the ball, jumps into crow-hop, clocked up to 75 mph on throws back to the infield. Named to 2023 High School All State Select Top Prospect List.
