Sam Thomas is a 2023 OF/RHP, SS with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Bartlett, TN who attends First Assembly Christian. Bigger frame with a lean, athletic look. Ran a 6.89 second sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, raw outfield tools while showing some athleticism, young mechanics with shorter arm action, big crow hop during release. Secondary shortstop, sits back on the baseball and reads it before working through it, showed some arm strength across the diamond with accuracy. Righthanded hitter, even stance with a balanced look, slight movements with quiet hands, showed some big pop pull side while making loud contact gap to gap, bat speed present as well. Good student.
