Randon Amador is a 2023 C/UT with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Edinburg, TX who attends Edinburg Vela. Medium frame with slender, young build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.38 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, coils into front hip, smaller trigger in hands and front side, stays on back side through swing, hands stays on inside path, creates opposite-field approach. Primary catcher, receives well, draws hands back into transfer, gets into good throwing position, clocked up to 68 mph on throws. Also took outfield reps, quickness to release coming through, clocked up to 69 mph on throws. Very good student.
