Timothy Watson is a 2021 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Cannon. Long frame with a slender build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.86 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a simple side step delivery into medium leg lift. Stays flexed on the back side at gather working to the plate with drop and drive actions down the mound. Clean arm circle at take back into a three-quarter release. Fastball comes out clean producing some arm side run at 75 miles per hour. Sharpest fastball came with an 11-to-5 shape and staying on top. Also worked out as an infielder. Rounds the ball some while fielding slightly out front. Loose arm action from a three-quarter slot. Accurate throws to the bag at 73 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance. Longer path into contact with a level swing plane. Works line drive contact to the opposite field.
